About the DeCafe The Moorestown DeCafe is a warm coffeehouse environment where great folks gather to enjoy live folk music, jazz, the blues, or world music once a month. Performers range from nationally known singer-songwriters like Michael Smith, Debbie McClatchy and Chris Smither to talented local musicians on the verge of breaking out. Performances are held in the former living room of an old mansion that now houses the Perkins Center for the Arts. About 65 people typically attend, providing an intimate setting for audience and performers alike. In keeping with its coffeehouse inspiration, the cost of admission includes coffee, tea, and various goodies. Concerts usually happen on the third Friday of each month from September to April, but check our schedule page to confirm dates. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and shows start at 8:15
